The hospital is headed by Dr. NC Lakshmaiah, MD (Ophthalmology), an AIIMS New Delhi–trained vitreo-retinal specialist with over 28 years of clinical experience in ophthalmology. A gold medalist from Kurnool Medical College, Dr. Lakshmaiah brings exceptional expertise and academic excellence to every consultation and procedure.
After completing his post-graduation, Dr. Lakshmaiah pursued senior residency in vitreo-retina services at AIIMS New Delhi, gaining extensive exposure to complex retinal diseases and advanced surgical techniques. He later became the first vitreo-retinal specialist in the Rayalaseema region, serving patients across Nellore, Kadapa, and Kurnool for more than a decade. With a strong commitment to serving his community, he established his practice in Nandyal to make super-speciality eye care accessible to his native place.
